20 years ago I bought a pair of Tiffany & Co. crystal candlesticks at my local thrift shop. I think I probably paid around $5 for them. After getting home I did a little research on eBay and found out that they were selling for close to $100. So, i listed them and, low and behold, they sold within a week for $115!! I was so elated that i had just made $100 that i started going to lots of antique stores, thrift shops, bin stores, tag sales, etc., buying whatever reasonably priced Tiffany pieces I came across. Business grew quickly and eventually i was buying estate collections and going to auctions. Our eBay store grew very successful in a short period.
